About me
I grew up in Antwerp, Belgium and dreamed to become a professional polo player. On my 19th birthday I ventured off to train in Argentina for three months before signing a contract in the USA. I played from the east to the west coast and achieved a level 4 handicap. Thus, from childhood coaching and teamwork have played a significant role in my life.
A few years later I completed my university studies while working full-time in the business sector. I then became a pastoral worker in the context of providing leadership for over 200 students and 70 adult volunteers while continuing to grow in business through personal real estate management and translation services. Here I began to give and receive coaching at a much more intense level. Furthermore, team dynamics and positive environment played a crucial role in productivity, influence and developing greatness defined not by what you achieve for yourself, but by what you do for others.
After 12 years in the USA I decided to move back to Belgium bringing with me the best of what I’ve learned to Europe, along with my beautiful wife and two amazing kids! I am still actively involved in pastoral work and coordinate a volunteer movement in Leuven called Serve the City Leuven.
Moving into business
From my days in polo till now I have seen first hand the effects of good and bad coaching on human behavior. This has given me a passion to assist in self-awareness, team coaching and positive environments which produce positive results. It is in this realm that your company or organization will develop greatness. With this aim I launched a company in 2008. I am networked with several leadership coaches in the USA, such as Michael Dauphinee, Jon Gordon, and Rick Yamamoto (Mosaic Los Angeles) and became a certified DISC trainer. My approach is pragmatic, knowing time is an expensive commodity.
I look forward to working with you!
